covered in the salty remains of the sea
a smile smeared and lipsticked
her wet mouth speaks in subdued tones
non-cancerous with her brilliant tanning cream
beautiful eyes that cry my name
lashes flutter across my face as i hold her tight
dont let go of her
or else she will escape and go back to the sea
from me she floats away
the water embraces her body...her smile
she transforms
then disappears
her routine shifts over and over
and now again for one last night
forever covered with my fingerprints
she drifts on further
truly transformed by me
